Not sure where to start? Pick the one that sounds most like you.

  • Jaw Pain, Clicking, or Limited Opening

Tightness, soreness, or pressure in the cheeks and temples. Can refer pain to teeth, the ear area, or the head and neck. Often gets worse with stress, clenching, gum chewing, or long dental appointments.

  • Headaches or Facial Pain

Not every headache is jaw-related, but some are. If yours show up in the temples, behind the eyes, or get worse when you clench, the jaw is worth checking.

  • Grinding, Clenching, or Worn Teeth

You might know you grind. Or maybe your dentist pointed out the wear. Either way, protecting your teeth starts with understanding why it’s happening.

  • Snoring, Poor Sleep, or Daytime Fatigue

Sleeping eight hours and still dragging through the afternoon? Breathing problems during sleep are more common than most people think, and they’re treatable.

How We Can Help

Three areas of focus, one office. Each one gets the same level of attention.

  • Woman holding a cold compress to her cheek with a pained expression

    TMJ & Orofacial Pain

Jaw pain, clicking, headaches, clenching. We figure out what’s driving it and build a plan around conservative, reversible options first.

  • Tired man in a white robe yawning with his hand over his mouth against a plain background

    Sleep & Airway

Snoring, sleep apnea, CPAP struggles. We screen, coordinate testing with sleep physicians, and provide oral appliance therapy when it’s the right fit.

  • Dentist examines a woman’s teeth with a mirror and dental tool while she reclines in a chair

    General Dentistry

Cleanings, fillings, crowns, cosmetic work. But with a difference: every visit includes a check on your bite, joints, and airway. Problems get caught earlier that way.

How the Evaluation Works

A straightforward process. No surprises, no runaround.

  1. Request

Tell us what you’re dealing with and what you’ve already tried. Online form or phone call, either works. Takes a couple of minutes.

  2. Evaluate

We spend real time on this. Your history, a hands-on exam, and targeted tests if needed. Plan for 30 to 60 minutes depending on your situation.

  3. Plan

You leave the office knowing what’s most likely going on, what we recommend doing about it, and what to expect next. Conservative options first. No pressure.

Meet Dr. Besharati

Dr. Ray Besharati earned his dental degree at Tufts University and completed a Master of Science in Orofacial Pain at USC, one of the most demanding programs in the country for jaw, facial, and head pain. That combination, along with 25+ years of clinical work, means he can look at your teeth, your jaw, your muscles, and your sleep and see how they connect.

He’s a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and the author of Concise Guide to Clinical Dentistry.

His approach is simple: listen first, examine carefully, start with the least invasive option that fits the diagnosis. If something isn’t necessary, he’ll tell you.
